DeVry College Career Exploration Presentation

DeVry College will be giving a Career Exploration Presentation on April 1st at 9:00.  Sign Up in the Career Center to attend.

UC Merced College Presentation

A Represenative from UC Merced will be here to give a presentation to the Juniors on April 7th @ 9:00.  Sign up in the Career Center to attend.  They will also be speaking to the Seniors who have been accepted to UC Merced after their presentation.

Get a Head Start on College!

How To Get Signed Up:

  1. Register at San Joaquin Delta College (click here ) you’ll need your Social Security Number. If you don’t have a Social Security Number, you can still register, but you have to contact Delta’s Student Services Department.
  2. Wait for your San Joaquin Delta College Student ID Number to be emailed to your MyDelta account
  3. Once you have your San Joaquin Delta College Student ID Number, go see your counselor to sign up to take the San Joaquin Delta College placement test. Be sure to bring your Delta College ID Number. 

Then What Happens:

  1. You will be scheduled to take the Placement Test. 
  2. Once your placement tests results are back, you will know if you qualify for English 79 (remediation) or English 1A (Freshmen English)
  3. In the fall, counselors will be place you in the appropriate Delta class and let you know when the class will meet. If the classes are full, Seniors will get priority and Juniors will be put on a wait list.
  4. Attend classes, complete your assignments and earn college credit!

SAT & ACT Registration

Juniors - It is time to register to take the SAT and ACT Tests.

The next test will be May 2nd - Register by April 6th

The last test for this school year will be June 6th - Register by May 8th

Check in the Career Center to see if you are elligible for a Fee Waiver

ASVAB Interpretation

ASVAB Interpretation will be Thursday, April 2nd for those students who took the ASVAB on February 23rd. The students will recieve thier scores and have them interpertated for them.  They will recieve a code and learn how to use the ASVAB Website for Career Exploration.

Delta Summer College Readiness Program

A representative from Delta College will be here to give a presentation on the Delta Summer College Readiness Program April 13th @ 9:00.  Sign up in the Career Center to attend

Grand Canyon University Presentation

A Representative from Grand Canyon University will be here to talk to undecided Senior and Juniors about their University.  April 14th at 9:00.  Sign Up in the Career Center to attend.
